Yiling Kuo
Greetings everyone! I am Yiling Kuo and currently a sophomore in Sheng Kung Girls’ High School. It is my pleasure to serve as a chair along with Wendy Chen in Security Council this year. This will be my seventh conference, but my first time chairing. I really look forward to creating a meaningful and unforgettable memories with fellow delegates in SKMUN. Participating in MUN conferences has deeply inspired me a lot, and it is always a great time sharing ideas, working out draft resolution and debating. I sincerely hope that you can broaden your horizon and make several adorable friends in conference. I believe that many of you are experienced MUNer, so I expect that you will keep your enthusiasm for MUN and enjoy the conference. If you are a first MUNer, please be courageous to express your opinions and do not hesitate to the inquire your chairs pertaining anything. Importantly, hope you all have fun in SKMUN V and please be prepared. See everyone soon in July!
Wendy Chen
Hi~delegates!! I’m Wendy Chen from Sheng Kung Girls’ High School, and I am now a sofhomore student. It is my truly honor to be the chair of Security Council, and now I can’t wait to meet you guys. Since it is the first time for me to be a chair, I might make some mistakes, as a result, it would be generous of you to tell me where I’m wrong, and I promise that I will corret the mistakes as soon as possible.
As to the issue of integrating reclusive states into the world community, in fact, it is not a common and ordinary issue; however, it has existed in the world for numbers of decades. I expect every one of the delegates could do some research into the issue, and come up with several feasible solutions.
I know that most of you are experienced munners, but as for some of the first sc munners, I encourage you not only to speak out, but also to submit a clause, because it will be the chance to improve yourselves as well as to make the world a better place.
Last but not least, I hope all of you will have a wonderful time attending the meeting, and enjoy yourselves as much as you can. See you soon!!!
